I was so dissapointed, only 20 hours (Dragon age origins took me 60) the ending doesn't make sense (unless it was made to leave space for dragon age III) I mean is my main objective in the game is to solve this mage/templar issue? it doesn't even end with a solution you just kill both of their leaders and the game ends, Liliana's appearance at the end also makes no sense, Alistar's meeting was uncalled for, few words nothing serious... what were they thinking?[SPOILER] Dragon Age II ending?
a third dragon age 3 is probaly why they made a confusing ending they are trying make space for it probaly[SPOILER] Dragon Age II ending?
Another likely possibility is having downloads after the end of the game.
