These games are out this week and am wondering which to get. I like both series but can only afford one of them. Which one is worth getting sooner?Pokemon Black or Dragon Age II?
I would go with Pokemon more for the fact that Dragon Age II is going to be one of those games that is heavily supported by DLC. I don't know if you're a person that doesn't care about this, but paid DLC is just getting out of hand with some games today. Especially when you can easily pay $70+ for all the DLC in the first Dragon Age.
However, if you were patient and waited, you could buy Dragon Age 1 with all the DLC for only $60 in the Ultimate Edition. It's unsure if they'll do a similar "ultimate edition" for Dragon Age 2, but I would still take my chances and wait, because even if it doesn't get an "ultimate edition", that game will easily get a price drop within the year. Dragon Age 2 will be a fine game I'm sure, but I just feel like with games like that, the early adopters are the ones who gets screwed the most.
Pokemon games on the other hand never really seem to go down in price, which may or may not be a bad thing. From what I've played of it though, Pokemon Black is really cool, it's still very similar to the previous games, but the game just seems alot more polished, and I love how much more fast pace the battles seem so far. The visuals have gotten a nice upgrade since previous games, and it just overall feels like the best pokemon yet.

Anyways, I do have my reason for it. Pokemon itself is just an amazing game. In the new generation you get a hundred or so new Pokemon. They all look pretty dang cool. There's a new move pool as well. You get to actually battle with not one, not two, but three Pokemon in the Black and White generation. Meaning having three out at the same time. :D They now have 3D graphics in a couple of their cities now.
Speaking of Pokemon Black, I'm leaving in five minutes for Game Stop to waste my money. PEACE!
