I just beat Dragon Age II, and I have some questions?

So, is Hawke dead? I sacrificed my character in Origins, to make for an epic ending and a sad funeral. But I decided to live on in Dragon Age II..Only thing is, Dragon Age II isn't really like Origins..The seeker asked Varric if Hawke(or me) was dead, and he told her "I doubt it". Does that mean I'm still alive? :D

Oh, and he also said that everybody had left me except for Merril, because I romanced her. I sided with the mages, and had slain Meridith. Very easy battle, surprisingly..

But I hate the ending. So, who the bloody hell is the seeker? What are they all doing? Where am I?

There's too many cliffhangers. What happened to Merril and I? Why was the game so damn short?I just beat Dragon Age II, and I have some questions?
It means Hawke is probably still alive, but Varric doesn't know for sure.

The Seeker is a member of the Chantry investigating the cause of the war between mages and templars throughout Thedas, and looking for someone who could stop it. Varric doesn't know where you and Merril are. It's best to remember that this is Varric's telling of what happened, but that still doesn't explain the plotholes in Act 3, or how quickly things move at the end.I just beat Dragon Age II, and I have some questions?
The simple answer is: They want you to buy the expansion packs, or the DLC to find out.I just beat Dragon Age II, and I have some questions?
