Hey got dragon age II wondering what type of mage to be if anyone can write the ups and downs for each spell tree if you know wut i mean for example is elemental magic better than primal coz i really need to know thanks :DDragon Age II primal or elemental mage or another type? HELP?
Primal has a nice variety of spells. You get damage dealers, stuns, and rock armor. Elemental is very damage focused, though cone of cold and winter's grasp make enemies brittle which can be exploited by your warriors and rogues. You will get more than enough skill points to fill up both trees if you want.
I maxed out Elemental for my character and maxed out Primal for Anders. Throwing down firestorm and tempest in a room at the same time clears it pretty fast. Also since Anders is the best healer rock armor keeps him alive longer.
