i like two worlds i own it its not the best but its still fun combat is alittle like dragon ageIs Two Worlds ii combat like Dragon Age Origins or Fable?
Yes but it sucks. Is Two Worlds ii combat like Dragon Age Origins or Fable?
It is more like fable. Very much like it.
BTW DRAGON AGE 2 FTWIs Two Worlds ii combat like Dragon Age Origins or Fable?
Think of Two Worlds 1 and 2 as a piece of poop that has turned to dust and nearing the middle of the earth because that's how long it has been in the decomposition cycle, and is meaningless to anyone. Two Worlds in general is shiny and the gameplay and extras they offer sound sweet but it has to be the worst game I've EVER played, don't buy it.

In Dragons Age II, I got the Dead Space 2 suit from the chest but now not sure if its in my inv. whats it?

theres a special chest in your estate, or in gamlens house if you're still in act 1 that contains all the premium items you receive from promos.
also there's a chest in the estate or gamlens too for storage purpose

Fable II or Dragon Age:Origins?
Which is the better video game? I honestly cannot choose which I love more, ha.Fable II or Dragon Age:Origins?
I liked Fable II more even tho it had a lot more problems that Dragon age. lolFable II or Dragon Age:Origins?
For more adventure I would choose Fable II. Dragon age is better with their fighting system, though Fable II is exactly like its old version. The only downside to Dragon age is that sometimes there are points in conversations where their faces are moving but absolutely no speaking. It got pretty annoying. Both are pretty short if you play right through them though. But I would believe that Fable II has more side quests than DA.... Gosh I'm rambling.Fable II or Dragon Age:Origins?
Fable II trust me
i think dragon age

Assassins Creed II, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age: Origins, which should I get?
I'm going to be purchasing one of these next week for the Xbox 360 but for the life of me I can't choose which. I really want to play all of them. Which should I get?Assassins Creed II, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age: Origins, which should I get?
As one of the answers mentioned it really depends on what kind of Genre do u like most, here is a quick review for all 3 games :
Assassin's Creed II :
Genre : Action/Adventure
score : 9.2/10
Assassin's Creed II is what you'd want an action sequel to be: bigger, better, and more beautiful.
The Good:
Huge, beautifully realized world to explore. Ezio is a terrific new character. Tombs put a spotlight on the excellent and enjoyable platforming. A greater variety of missions, weapons, and stealth techniques than in the original. Incredible production values.
The Bad:
Some additions are a little contrived. A few gameplay and visual quirks.
Left 4 Dead 2 :
Genre : FPS
score : 9.0/10
With exciting new content across the board and plenty of it, Left 4 Dead 2 outdoes its predecessor and makes the zombie apocalypse an absolute blast.
The Good :
New campaigns are very well designed. Explosive new guns and deadly new melee weapons. Scavenge mode is a great short-form Versus mode. New survivors have more character, and new infected have fun abilities. Realism mode delivers a new level of tension.
The Bad :
No major leaps forward in gameplay. AI allies can still trip you up.
Dragon Age: Origins :
Genre : RPG
score : 8.8/10 (9.6/10 PC version)
Incredible storytelling, great characters, and exciting battles are just a few of the things that make this fantasy role-playing game so great.
The Good :
Intricate, involving storytelling. Amazing dialogue and voice acting bring characters to life Rich fantasy world filled with interesting lore. Enjoyable questing with plenty of twists and surprises. Lots of spells and abilities make combat fun.
The Bad :
Drab, underwhelming visuals. Some glitches and interface irritations.
so as u can see its really up to u we can only provide u with reviews .IMHO all 3 games are great but coz i like RPG and action/adventure i would go for DAO or Assassin's Creed II ,but that just me.
hope that helps %26amp; enjoy whatever u choose :)
Dragon Age is a good way to waste time but Left 4 Dead 2 can waste time AND it has zombies, Assassin's Creed II is pretty much like AC1 but with more **** to do, idk? how is it hard for you to pick? Just seriously if it is that hard just get L4D2, the hours of fun are endless and you seem like the guy who would like that game.Assassins Creed II, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age: Origins, which should I get?
Depends what you want. If you want multiplayer, Left 4 Dead 2 is for the shooter guy and DAO is for the RPG guy. Assassins Creed II is one of the best action-rpg's on the 360 to date. I prefer AC2 but that's just my opinion.
Left for dead then later get assassins creed

Assassins Creed 2 all the way! I bought it the other day and I've been playing for nearly two days straight. It's addicting.
Its definetly got to be between Assassins Creed 2 or Left For Dead 2. %26gt;%26gt;

Is there a "Mirror of Transformation" in Dragon Age: Origins (PC or Console)?
I made my character a little odd looking and would like to change his appearance, but I don't really wanna start all the way over. I have both the PC version (with the console enabled, the version with the Warden I'm referring to) and the 360 version. I found that mirror to be incredibly handy in Dragon Age II. I tried "runscript chargen 0" and that... didn't work at all. Thanks! Is there a "Mirror of Transformation" in Dragon Age: Origins (PC or Console)?
Nope sorry. But on the PC, you can do following to.. kinda cheat the game a bit :P
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/鈥?/a>
Download this thingy, and;
0. Save your game with a recognizable name, like "testmod".
1. Install all the hairstyles and mods you want
2. Create a new temporary character with the desired aspect, and create a new save game (any race/gender/class), or prepare a Morph file (.mor) you may have
3. Use the "DAOSaves.exe" utility to import in this on-going play-through saved game, the head-morph from the newly created save or from the morph file you prepared (select morph file in open file dialog)
4. Delete the temporary character if you want.
5. Enjoy %26amp; Endorse

How to install Dragon Age 2 patch 1.02?
I've successfully installed, and currently playing the 1.00 version. But when I'm about to install the 1.02 patch, this message "Dragon Age II was not found. Please reinstall the game and try again." kept on popped out. Anyone knows how to resolve this? How to install Dragon Age 2 patch 1.02?
Have you cracked the game? Because maybe it doesn't recognize the exe. Or do you have it placed in a custom folder not in your Program Files folder? It is possible it doesn't recognize the folder my Dragon Age 2 folder lies in C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age 2
Hope this helps
9-5-2011
Well the problem probally is that the installer doesn't recognize the crack you have to reinstall the game you don't have to lose your savegames just go to Documents then Bioware and copy the Dragon Age 2 folder and paste it on a save spot so you can replace it with the new folder. Maybe the unistall already asks if you don't want to lose your savegames so than that what I said before isn't needed. Ow and don't replace the the exe with the crack before you updated the game and you might also need to download a new crack if you update it. And if it still doesn't work you might put your update installer in the D: drive sometimes that is the problem that it will only find in your C: drive the game.
Hope this helps
ow and if you downloaded the game free maybe consider buying it because Bioware is a good game publisher and deserves to make their money from computer games but if you don't think this game doesn't deserves it you don't.

Dragon age: origins or II?
I just finished the dragon age 2 demo on 360. I loved ME 1 and 2 and want to get one of the dragon age games. Should I get origins ultimate edition or wait for 2? They are both 60$ gamesDragon age: origins or II?
i did the same i just finished dragon age 2 demo and its amazing i think you have to wait for dragon age 2 it will be released in 8 march plus its better in game play. : )
Just get the not Ultimate edition, its probably only $10 second hand and it is worth it. Be warned, the first one is quite different from mass effect, less action and more RPG. All are still in my favorite games.Dragon age: origins or II?
Yeah go for the newest always because since the stories aren't part of each other your not missing out on anything, of course on a later date you may want to watch the other story but as for now get the newer one first
If you havent played the first One i recommend playing it first because they are some what linked. Well they tie in at the end. But once you finish the first one i wouldnt hesitqte to get the next one!Dragon age: origins or II?
Well if you want to play for 100+ hours get the DA 1 but it doesnt matter which one you get because the stories are different. So I would get DA 2. New story and characters.

Is Dragon Age Origins Repetitive?
I've never really played RPGs, but I've always been curious. I have played Assassins Creed 2, but I got bored of it after the first several hours. It seemed too repetitive for me. I was wondering if dragon age is like this too. I played the demo for dragon age II, and I thought it was very fun, but if it's long and all the gameplay is only just like that, then I could see myself getting bored rather quickly. Please help, thanks! Is Dragon Age Origins Repetitive?
Actually, if you like listening and thinking about storylines, than the game is not repetitive at all. The only thing that might get repetitive is the part where you go to the dwarf city Orzammar. That is the longest overarching quest that you must complete in order to advance in the game. The battles start to feel repetitive even if they aren't, because they last longer and are much more creepy. That part plays games with your head.
But overall, you should definitely try the game. It's not repetitive at all.
It can feel somewhat repetitive, but then again, most games can. It depends on what you like.
I personally would HIGHLY recommend it, I've put a bunch of hours into it.
The combat feels less intense in Origins.. but that doesn't mean it feels worse. I actually almost prefer Origin's feel than that of DA2.
So yeah - the gameplay is like that, but you make tons of numerous decisions (big and small) throughout the whole game. I found myself spending about 40 hours on one playthrough, I don't know what you consider to be short or long.
But - I'd still recommend it, I had a lot of fun with it, and then in DA2 you can import your save file from Origins, which will influence how some things work out in DA2.
I don't know if you're interested, but three RPGs I strongly recommend are The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Mass Effect 1 %26amp; 2, and Fallout 3.
Hope this helps. Is Dragon Age Origins Repetitive?
If you enjoy managing a party around some tactical battles, then it can be pretty fun, especially playing around with all the spells mages get. I think if you are only in it for the combat though, then you might be disappointed, that was probably the weakest part of the game.
The real good thing about Dragon Age is the story and characters. The story is very interesting, more than enough to keep you going even when the dungeons get a little slow in parts. If you care about story in your games at all, you should at least give it a try, its one of the best RPGs in the last few years by far.
If you are an rpg fan, Dragon Age it's not going to be booring !Is Dragon Age Origins Repetitive?
I completly agree with Dsty. If you like storyline in a game this is thew game for you. Betrayal, Romance, Tragedy all in one well done game. The only part I dislike is the fact In Orzammar you get so tired of fighting in the deep roads.
I found it to be very repetitive. The combat strategies are essentially the same except on a few very specific boss fights. I also found it to be very slow because of the constant pausing/playing/pausing "action".

Is having a healer in the party useful in dragon ages II?
looking at the talent tree for spirit healer and restoration the cool downs are EXTREMELY long i know anders has a talent that reduces the cooldown on spells by 80% but id rather heal as hawke. was a patch put in that gave spirit healers or some other tree the same talent as anders? Is having a healer in the party useful in dragon ages II?
If you are on the PC there is a mod that reduces the cooldown time of spells on the DA nexus. Otherwise there's not much you can do.
You don't really need a healer. Just keep a large supply of health potions and elfroot potions. If while the potions are cooling down you are low on health start running, you can kite most enemies. Or if you are a spirit healer you can save your healing spells for when you can't access your potions. Is having a healer in the party useful in dragon ages II?
I don't know about a patch, but I kept Anders around in my party for healing. It was pretty useful, but I don't know if I would call it absolutely necessary. I was tempted to send the pony-tailed ***** packing. But, still, very useful, helped me get out of a lot of tough places. I'd say basically, yes, you need him.live meeting baltimore inner harbor

You probably are in Act 1 then. When you go visit your uncle (Gamlen), there's a chest inside his house. The chest is in the room at the right when you go in.

Which dragon age should I buy?
I am thinking of buying dragon age for pc. I dont know which one I should get. Which one is the one you would recommend buying? I have played Origins before on playstation. I really like the game but I want to get my own. Thank you for you help.
-Dragon Age Origins
-Dragon Age Origins: Awakening
-Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition
-Dragon Age II
-Dragon Age II: BioWare Signature EditionWhich dragon age should I buy?
I just recently bought the Dragon age Origins ultimate edition. two days ago exactly and I cant put it down. I also have the second dragon age as well but there is so much more gameplay in ultimate edition. I would say the dragon age origins ultimate because you get both awakening and origins with all 7 downloadable content packages. I also got the blood armor when i bought it as well. So another plus lol.Which dragon age should I buy?
Origins ultimate edition comes with Awakening and all the DLC. It is the best deal if you want to experience more of the original game. Your decisions from Origins will transfer to DA2. But, you don't need to have finished Origins to play or understand DA2. If you decide to skip to DA2 get the signature edition. It comes with extra items and a new companion along with his quest line.Which dragon age should I buy?
Origins = epic
Awakening is pretty good but you need Origins to play it. You might be able to get both Origins and awakening in the same package.
DA2 - it was ok but I really wouldn't recommend buying it.
They are all great. But the best one for me was origins.

Who do i know where the Act II or Act III starts in dragon age 2?
i just wonna know how far i get, but i dont know when is the second or third acts starts.Who do i know where the Act II or Act III starts in dragon age 2?
Act 2 starts once you are finished with the deep roads expedition. Act 3 begins once you have become the Champion of Kirkwall, I won't spoil for you exactly how that happens. Act 3 is also the shortest and final act of the game. So be careful to get everything done that you need to before you start the end game quest.

Assassin's Creed II or Dragon Age: Origins? I can only get one right now.?
I like RPG's, especially fantasy/medieval, but can also appreciate something a little more linear than an open world like Oblivion. The first Assassin's Creed was entertaining - the first time. Replay value sucked due to HIGHLY repetitive nature of the missions, and I gotta say the voice acting for Altair was absolutely horrendous. Shockingly bad. Plus, I wanted a medieval GTA - stealing, buying, killing, etc. I tried to play it a second time, but couldn't stand it, so I got rid of it (have not ever regretted it). So which game should I take a chance on? AC II or Dragon Age? (I already have Modern Warfare II, so don't suggest that).Assassin's Creed II or Dragon Age: Origins? I can only get one right now.?
I've been hearing positive things about AC2 but I would still wait. AC1 had everybody and their mom talking about how great it was when it first came out and only after the hype died down did you start to hear about how terrible the replay value was and how repetetive the game was. I thought AC1 was a pretty awful game once you looked past the flashy combat in interesting story so it would take some major improvements for me to get on the AC2 bandwagon.
Dragon Age on the other hand has been out for a little while, enough for people to beat it, and most reviews have remained overwhelmingly positive. There's a lot to do in the game and you can do it differently each time you play. Really the only downside I see to the game is that console versions have had complaints against the controls and graphics and that the game is perhaps too similar to some of its predecessors such as Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect.
definitly dragon age because assassins creed 2 is probobly going to be too similar to assassins creed 1 which i didnt like much and assuming you already played assassins creed 1 then dragon age would be a great change of pace for now rather than playing something youve probobly already playedAssassin's Creed II or Dragon Age: Origins? I can only get one right now.?
Hey, I would say Assassins Creed ll because you said you wanted a medieval game which involves stealing, buying and killing. Assassins Creed ll has all of that (not like in Assassins Creed l where they said there would be and none of that), there's a lot of that stuff. The voices of the Assassins Creed ll are awesome also. I've played maybe 4 hours of Assassins Creed ll and I think it's awesome.
I hope this helps!
I'd say Assassins creed if you're playing on xbox or ps3 and Dragon age if you're playing on a computer. the console version of dragon age are lacking compared to PC. I just got AC2 on ps3 last night and it's really good. I thought it was going to be to similar to the first but it is just a good sequel. it has several improvements and innovations.Assassin's Creed II or Dragon Age: Origins? Assassins Creed 2 is much much better than the first game definitely get it
Arthur has no idea what he's talking about.
Assassin's Creed 2 is sooo much better and far different and new from the first.

I've played both, AC2 is much better!

I'm planning to get a new computer for Dragon Age II, what specs should I get? I'm not asking for Bioware's?
I'm asking about what I need, AT LEAST, to be able to max out all graphic and video settings and still play smoothly without lagging and compromising speed. I've seen the recommended settings on Bioware's site, and I don't believe those will be enough, I've also made my own list, but the guy who's selling me the pc tells me it might still be too expensive for me.
I listed: i7 960 3.2, Nvidia Geforce GTX 580. If these two are already too much to run the game on max graphic settings smoothly, please tell me what specs are just enough, so I don't spend all my money. ThanksI'm planning to get a new computer for Dragon Age II, what specs should I get? I'm not asking for Bioware's?
Don't get Nvidia if you are planning to play Dragon Age II.
Get an AMD. Nvidia drivers are not cooperating with DA2 atm.
6870+ will get you 40fps+ @1920x1080 resolution @ maxed out settings from what I heard. Haven't seen any benchmarks yet besides for the 580, 6990,and the 5970
Edit: saw that you wanted a list of cheap components
CPU - any quad core will do preferably i7-9xx or Sandy Bridge
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6870
HDD - 500MB - 1TB HDD 32MB Cache 7200RPM
RAM - 6GB or 4GB depending if you choose a dual or triple channel supporting chipset
PSU - 600W+ (must be 80+ certified)
Everything else you can pick to your liking.

Can I still get Fenris as a romance in Dragon Age II?
Ok, I'm kinda of annoyed. I did all the Fenris companion quests up till the end of Act 2 (minus the Night Terrors one), have him at max friendship, and I'm pretty sure sure I answered all the dialog prompts correctly. But then, at the end of the "A Bitter Pill" Quest, when the Romance is supposed to start, it doesn't. He leaves. I looked around and apparently it's that ***** Isabela's fault. I hadn't really wanted to start a romance with her but kind of did it accidentally. But then at the end of the the night I said "no feelings are involved. It was just for fun." Which I hope was the break-up heart. I wasn't really paying attention to that at the time. Not knowing it would mess up my relationship with anyone else. Does this mean Fenris is forever butt-hurt or can you open the romance back up later on? Cause I'm gonna be really mad if I'm stuck with the pirate ***** just cause she's a whore. Can I still get Fenris as a romance in Dragon Age II?
From the Dragon Age 2 Wiki
If you wish to have a romance with several characters and Fenris. Avoid speaking to him immediately after Act 2 and romance any other characters you wish first. However, for a romance with Fenris to be possible after sleeping with another character, you must end the romance with the other character by choosing a broken heart dialogue wheel option before beginning the romance with Fenris. (This has been tested and confirmed to work with Isabela and Anders.) It is speculated amongst fans that Fenris will not attempt a romance with you if he thinks you may be able to find happiness with another.[5] Additionally, be careful not to leave Kirkwall for the duration of your attempts at romancing the other characters. Leaving Kirkwall can trigger Fenris's quest A Bitter Pill. If you do not complete this quest quickly, you may be forced to complete it automatically (see quest description for details). For the relationship with Fenris to proceed normally, you want to complete the quest Speak to Fenris before A Bitter Pill, so it is best to avoid leaving Kirkwall while romancing other characters. NOTE: During the quest Blackpowder Courtesy, you will technically leave Kirkwall for the Wounded Coast, but this does not trigger A Bitter Pill. Once you have finished romancing any other characters you wish, return to Fenris's Mansion, complete the companion quest Speak to Fenris and proceed with the quest A Bitter Pill as indicated above.

Can you custmise Hawke in Dragon Age II for PS3?
Might be a stupid question, but I've just got the game (literally played less than 5 minutes).
I clicked New Game, and expected to be taken to a character creation menu (hair, skin colour, gender etc) but I only got to choose out of options such as 'male warrior' and 'female rogue' etc... and apparently I'm in-game now, and as a 'default' female Hawke... does this mean you can't change the appearance? (I read before the game came out that you could change looks, and that your sibling's looks would change to fit to match your tones). Help? Can you custmise Hawke in Dragon Age II for PS3?
You have to play through the first fight scene with the default Hawke. Then you find out that Varric was exaggerating and will start to tell the real story. This is when you will be able to customize your appearance. The first two pre-sets of the default face can't be altered though, so skip them if you don't want to use them.
I agree it is a weird decision. But, you can completely customize your appearance after that first little scene.

Will the new Dragon Age II DLC be available for console?
I just watched the new DLC for DA2 on youtube (it's called Legacy, I think), and I want to know if it will be available for console (PS3 in particular) when it is released.
It's a legitimate Bioware release (like Witch Hunt or Shale was for Origins). Anyone with a PC version will be able to just download right away I expect, but how will this work for console? Since there's no code to redeem (since it's brand new) how will I get it? I have the special edition release of the game because I like to have all the extras, which were available to download. (On the menu screen on loading the game, I get little ads at the bottom for new DA 'packs' to download, too).
So, is this going to be available for consoles? Or will I have to fork out another 拢30 when (and if) they put it on disk, just because I'm on console? (that really annoys me...).Will the new Dragon Age II DLC be available for console?
It will be available to download on console the same day as the PC according to their website. I don't have a PS3, so I'm not exactly sure how you go about downloading it, but if you aren't seeing it available that day just go to the BSN forums. That's where the devs will be answering questions.

ROMANCING ISABELA IN DRAGON AGE II?
Ok guys, I've flirted with her, gave a ship in a bottle to her, and had sex with her. Is that all I can do? I don't have the trophy for completing a romance, so I've been trying to find a Riviani tailisman at Ilen's Crafts shop. I was told that was another gift I could give her, no luck finding it though. So, since doing matress mumbo with her, I haven't had any dialog options or quest options to do with her. And now, Merril is at the Hawke estate. I've found that if I click the heart option, that, no matter what I do after, Hawke and her have sex. I don't really want that. But now I'm afraid that I can't romance Isabela anymore, and if I can't do that, all I have to romance is Fenris and Merril( I shot down Anders). So, did I somehow screw up my romance with Isabela? The morning after the mm scene, I chose the gold heart option which said something along the lines of, " I wont force you to marry me" or something. Since then, no quest from her, not able to get a conversation going in The Hanged Man, and I can't find her goddamned Riviani Talisman. I really like Isablea; she's a cool character, hot, and a pirate. Merril is my rival cause I ****** up her plans with that mirror. So please, can anyone tell me how to continue my romance with Isabela, if I can even do so?
Thank you.ROMANCING ISABELA IN DRAGON AGE II?
While you had sex with her, that isn't the complete romance, that won't happen till the third act (after the next time that a large amount of time passes). Also the gift that you have been searching for won't show up till the same act as well.watch weeds season 7 utah weather

Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
I'm looking for a new RPG game to take up my time for the remainder of the summer and I was curious: Should I start off with Origins and then move on to DA 2? I've heard that Origins was far more enjoyable, and it got much better reviews.
Seeking advice from people that have played both games only, please.
Thank you!
ps- Playing on the PC. The last RPG I played was Oblivion: Elder Scrolls, which I very much enjoyed.Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Just play Dragon Age II it is so much better than the first and origins combined. Much better story lines, gameplay, and controls IMO
Yes! but get dragon age origins ultimate edition!!! its really amazing!Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Yes of course you should. Mr. I work at gamestop doesn't know much about gaming. Dragon Age Origins is a great game, better reviewed than 2 by far, and contains chracters and information needed to understand DA2. If you do not play DA Origins, you will not at all understand the ending of DA2. Its not explained in DA2, you will just be lost. DA Origins is absolutely essential for story reasons.
i myself have played both and would agree that yes your should start with origins because it was one of the best RPGS i have played and would help you to get the story of the second, however skyrim is comingout soonShould I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
First one is a better overall game. Which is why its ratings overall are about a 9.75 and the second ones are around 7.
Anyway, other guy is kind of a lousy gamestop employee if he recommends this. If you have access to the first one play it first, and the expansion. They introduce characters that are in the second one, and give you the grounding in the world you need to fully appreciate and understand all the aspects of the story and the world. Game play is far more challenging and its a longer game as well.

My Dragon Age II game for Xbox 360 has linked to an EA account that is not my own.?
I need to find a way to rectify this because i signed up for the news letter and played the demo and a slew of other additional things and none of them are transferring into my DA2 game because of this. My Xbox is connected to my windows live ID, but this game is connected to the wrong EA ID. I have my own EA ID, but EA doesn't even register that I have an Xbox. I would like the technology of my life to start communicating with one another but I would like some aid from you all in ways I can "help" this process.

Dragon Age II - Nightmare difficulty?
I'm starting DAII on nightmare right now. I've beaten the game 3 times on casual so now I'm looking for more of a challenge. Since I scarcely understand how to put together a good party, could someone help me? I have a feeling I'll need to actually care about my party this time around ._.
So, my character is a mage. I haven't leveled her up or given her any skills or anything yet cause I'm afraid I'll screw it up... What would be a good build/skill set for her?
As for the rest of my party, I've always used Fenris Anders and Varric. (They're my 3 favourite characters :X) I'd be willing to change it up in any way, and I would also need help with their builds and skills too. People say using Aveline is better than Fenris because she makes a better tank, but I always found that she dealt very little damage in comparision to Fen, who makes a good tank too. Which one should I use and why?
And I really don't know who is better. Would you suggest I use Merril or Anders? I like Anders cause he has the party heal skill where as Merril doesn't, and since I'm already a mage it would be excessive to have 3 mages in my party. So, which one of them would be better?
I think Varric is great for long range attacks cause he deals a lot of damage, but if you disagree please let me know about that too.
Any other tips would be extremely helpful; I don't want to try and beat any game completely unprepared. Especially this one!Dragon Age II - Nightmare difficulty?
The only way to get through nightmare difficulty is with cross-class combos. That means you need one member for each of the on hit effects, brittle, staggered, and disoriented. Mages can leave enemies brittle, warriors staggered, and rogues disoriented. I haven't gotten used to disoriented yet so only play on hard. You need at least one rogue, one warrior and one mage. You yourself should invest early into the ice spells to take advantage of the brittle effect. For a rogue, i find that Isabella and dual weapons have more opportunities to apply on hit effects, as archers lance does massive amounts of damage to brittle targets but is hard to line up, and exploding arrow for me has the same problem. Of course these could probably be solved with a simple glyph of paralyzation. As far as warriors go, Aveline will help you tank and set up lots of attacks, but will rarely leave enemies staggered so Fenris may be a better option. Play around with mages, rogues and warriors until you find a combination that works for you.

Dragon Age II: What are rivalry romances?
I haven't gotten the game yet but after looking into it a bit, the terms "friendly" and "rivalry" romance kept coming up. I was curious as to what a rivalry romance was (assuming a friendly romance was a relatively normal relationship with all the great mushi emotional stuff).
My guess is that a rivalry romance would be kind of a love-hate thing or a very passionate and aggressive relationship. Like yelling at eachother and sort of out of no where shove the other against a wall and start a round of aggressive snogging. :D
If you've played the game, please tell me if I've come anywhere close to hitting the mark. :3
Thanks in advance, mates!!! =3=Dragon Age II: What are rivalry romances?
In the game you can either gain an eventual full "friend" or "rival" status with each individual party member, depending on the speech options you choose when talking to them or the things that you accept/do when they're in your party. If you want to rivalmance (rival romance) one of the characters in the game, you have to gain rival points with them (similar to disapproval points in the first game) by disagreeing with them on certain subjects, being plain horrible to them or doing something they disagree with. But whenever the heart symbol appears during a conversation with the character you want to be in a romance with, you choose that option no matter what, this progresses the relationship. There are differences in the cutscenes and conversations depending on which romance route you take (rival or friendship). If you want to you could search Youtube for the rival and friend romances, you'll be able to watch videos that compare the differences, if you want to that is.
I've probably made it sound more complicated than it actually is, it's a lot more simpler to understand when you're playing the game. But yeah, in my opinion I prefer the rivalmance route, it definitely a lot more fun.

Dragon Age II Main Plot Help! Act of Mercy is bugged?
I was playing DA 2 on my PC, i was doing Act of Mercy quest. I was supposed to go in for the Templar Sir Thrask and kill the mages and stuff in there then come out and tell him. Well when i came out i decided to fight them, so i fought and killed them all but i cant complete the quest because the girl just says something along the lines of "i dont wanna talk where templars may here". I have checked every inch of the area and there are no more templars. Sir Thrask is also gone and i cannot find him anywhere, iv searched almost every area. Dragon Age II 'The Last Straw' Help?
I'm a mage who needs help in one of the earlier battles in 'The Last Straw.' I'm on the part of the docks where you face tons of Horrors, a Blood Mage, and...I forgot the name of it, but it's a huge monster. You know what I mean. I would like to know what party members I should choose (all lvl. 13) , and what tactics I should use for this level only. No spoilers, please.
Things you should know:
Party members-Isabela, Varric, Avalene, Anders, and Merril
I don't have that many AOF (Area of Effect) spells and it's killing me. Help, please! Lots of points to the best answer. Thanks!Dragon Age II 'The Last Straw' Help?
You can always change the difficulty if needed.....to be fair the entire game on normal isn't to bad except for a few fights that just piss you off to no end.
Take out the mage first, they do the most damage to your party. I would use Isabella if it was me, backstab usually messes mages up pretty fast. Or a stun move can atleast make it easier since it stops there castly.
I would use Mage hawk, Isabella, Varric ( Arrows hit hard ) and then Avalene just because you need a tank. If your mage can not heal I would use Anders instead of Avalene, and manually heal if needed. Also don't be afraid to use mana and health potions. You get tons of them so its not a big deal to lose them in one of maybe 4 hard battles.
Drop the mage, then take out some of the smaller mobs so you don't take so much damage. Make sure you watch everybodies health and use potions around 50% or so. Have anders heal while you and varric drop serious damage from afar and watch isabellas HP closely as she will be pretty much tanking the fight.

Dragon Age II Glitch- Help!?
So I went back to Gamlen's house, and I had a letter, entitled "A Letter For Carver." I marked it as read, but nothing happened. I looked at it again, and it displayed that I had NOT read it, and I could not mark it as read. What happens now? Is my game glitched, and can't continue in the storyline? I would hate to lose all my progress and start over, so please help!Dragon Age II Glitch- Help!?
your okay just mark it as read again and keep on playing plus save ur game every chance you get

Dragon Age II.......?
So we can't even make our own character or continue our saved one from origins? What kinda crap is that? Am I the only one mad about that?Dragon Age II.......?
Despite what someone else said no you are not the only one who is pissed off about not being able to import their grey warden to DA2 , in fact from what I've read from the various dragon age sights most people are pissed, including myself, we've taken the time to create this character and have grown attached to it only to have him/her disappear through a mirror with Morrigan (which hunt dlc) and most people feel cheated, like they didn't get any closure to the story. I'm hoping that maybe in a future sequel to the game the grey warden characters are brought back but I'm not getting my hopes up. It seems the designers are killing their own game by trying to make it more like mass effect and not what the core fans of this game want, I wouldn't be surprised if DA2 was the last in this franchise.Dragon Age II.......?
Yes you are.
The story line of DA2 follows the story of a new hero who rises after the defeat of the darkspawn in DA1. It's meant to be much more indepth than DA1, but to do that extra depth justice, you have to be more rigid with certain elements of the game such as character design. For example, you can't have voiced interactions between characters or in-game cinematics if you don't remove some of the freedoms. This also means you can't bring in your own character from the previous game.
Besides I think it's a good thing that they are moving away from the Oblivion style of game which DA1 simply couldn't compete with despite having better graphics.
I agree with the other person who said that the game designers know what they are doing. I can't wait for DA2.Dragon Age II.......?
You fined in self your properties than think it
I'm sure bioware know what their doing, they usually get it right :)

Dragon Age II romance question...?
Can I romance Fenris and Anders? I know that if I romance Fenris and sleep with him, he will leave and not return until Act 3...when he leaves, can I start a romance with Anders and then keep my relationship with him going and run away with him at the end of the game? Or is it too late after I sleep with Fenris to have the full romance with Anders?Dragon Age II romance question...?
Yes - to a point. Fenris never actually leaves the companions, but he will leave the party briefly before and have a minor meltdown after he sleeps with Hawke.
You can romance Fenris at the top of Act 2 by giving him his gifts and doing his Questioning Beliefs quest before heading outside of the city. Heading out to Sundermount or the Wounded Coast will trigger a slaver attack which you must help Fenris with immediately or lose Friendship points with him. If you are doing a rival romance, then trigger the attack and then tell him he'll have to wait, which will anger him for some good Rivalry points.
After the encounter with Hadriana, Fenris will leave the party and wait in your mansion. When you encounter him there, you have the option for the first romance scene. If Rival/Friendship score is high enough and you do do NOT choose the last flirt option in that conversation, he will leave. Exit and leave the manor yourself, then return and he will be there again and this time directly force the relationship question (slightly different romance scene than before).
At the end of either romance scene, Fenris will back out of the relationship. If you wish to start up with him again in Act 3, choose the flirt/good options in this conversation. At this point, if you want to romance Anders, continue on to doing all his quests and gifts. After the fight with Ser Alrick, talk to Anders in the clinic twice, the first time to give him the papers and flirt, and the second time to flirt and get smooched, which triggers a romance scene at Hawke's mansion later. In that scene, when Anders asks about Fenris, you will have an option to say he left you and it's over. You can continue and fully romance Anders at this point.
Once you sleep with Anders, Merrill or Isabela after bedding Fenris, Fenris will not continue the romance in Act 3. If you didn't break up with him after the romance scene in Act 2, and you slept with no one else, Fenris can still be romanced completely in Act 3 and you will get the Romance achievement.catalytic converter map of idaho

What games are like dragon age 2 or 1?
I finished dragon age II -good- game- a while back and now I want to play a game like that, but I can't stand to go through it again(mainly the story line)...Or at least if I have to. I was looking to rent the first one- but I could not find it in the two renting places we have here. So I was wondering if there are any -ps3, ps2, wii- games that are equally epic in both story line functioning and the fighting style? No gun games please. Thanks =)What games are like dragon age 2 or 1?
Try Oblivion, or Demon's Souls. What games are like dragon age 2 or 1?
Try persona 3 or 4 they both are good rpg's for the ps3. I liked Dragon age 2 too lol its funny at some times to. FF12 has a similar fighting style to (ps2) but i don't know many games like it for ps3 unless your willing to try Demons souls or maybe FF13 might suit you (i thinks its kinda garbage though)What games are like dragon age 2 or 1?
by far the most epic RPG ever made is oblivion. Do youself a favor and play it.

Dragon Age II Rogue: Archer or DW?
The title says it all. I like both, just having trouble deciding which to stick with. Please don't say any other classes or say "do both". Also, make actual reasons why.Dragon Age II Rogue: Archer or DW?
I would say Dual wielding.
I feel like it does more damage than archery. It totally just tears away at an enemy's health. Also, the specializations available to rogues go much better with dual wielding like duelist and assassination especially. Also, you could have Varric in your party who was made for archery. I feel like Isabela does more damage than him anyway, and she is dual wield, so you could have 2 dual wields in your party to quickly take down enemies.
Hope this helps!Dragon Age II Rogue: Archer or DW?
I like to be an archer, I find it much better to attack from a distance, this make sit easier to avoid damage and dying, as well as being able to switch targets very easily and attack those pesky little mobs which hide up hills. Archery also hits quite a lot and can be a good damage dealer.

I have dragon age II and i died and .... ?
its says im injured how can i don't be injures so i get full healed ?? pls help i'm giving best answer away !!!I have dragon age II and i died and .... ?
An injury occurs when your character, or another, dies in combat. Once the enemies are killed, your KO'ed Chars wake up and sustain injuries. They can range from lowered attack to lowered health. To heal them, you must use a type of "Injury Kit", these range in quality. Higher quality heals mulitple injuries.I have dragon age II and i died and .... ?
use a injury kit, they can be dropped by enemies, or you can go buy them at a merchant

Problem with Dragon Age II?
I started playing the game and realized that the graphics weren't maxed out. So I turned everything up in the video options menu. When I got back to the game the weapons on the characters' backs were all red. I went back into the options menu and started trouble-shooting and found that it was an issue with the graphics setting. After changing the graphics setting to medium/low the weapons had a static flicker about them. Any ideas?

Hi,
When you installed game you got the Dragon Age II Launcher? Because before playing the game you have to open Launcher then a message will come that Graphics are compatible with this PC. Then you can change graphics in game. otherwise you can't. Now play again or find the Launcher

Stuck on Dragon Age II (Rock Wraith). Help?
I'm playing on the 360, difficulty all the way down to Casual. But I can't do it. I'm approx Lv.10 across the board, so I believe I have enough levelling up to do this. I know about the pattern he has etc, but I feel that I need to upgrade something or whatever. However, I'm now stuck, since I can't go back and don't want to play all the way through the Deep Roads again! Any tips?Stuck on Dragon Age II (Rock Wraith). Help?
Dont just stand in front of him whacking while your defense is open.
It requires a bit of micromanagement. I suggest taking cover behind the rocks when he's doing his 360 degree attack.Stuck on Dragon Age II (Rock Wraith). Help?
Hammer him whenever he is isolated. When he's charging up for a burst of energy hide behind one of the pillars, your party should follow you. Pummel him some more. As soon as he summons his mini wraiths, take them out as quickly as possible.
The mini wraiths he summons are the kicker and what ultimately knock your party out. Keep your focus on them %26amp; you should do OK.
Ensure you have designated healer and all your character's tactics have them healing themselves with potions when their health gets too low. You'll have to do this bit manually.
Above all watch you own health, withdraw behind a pillar and heal if needed.Stuck on Dragon Age II (Rock Wraith). Help?

Okay... I'm not telling you = ) I do find it curious that the requirements mention Win7 64, but not 32. Usually, a game doesn't care - it will run on either 32 or 64. And why would it run on 32 bit Vista and XP? It seems like a typo to me, but it might be a show stopper.
Even if it isn't, your other main problem is going to be that processor. Laggy, is how I imagine your game will go. Expect crashing, and having to play with a lot of settings related to the processor on "low".How well will ma PC run Dragon Age II?
yes it will run! but in medium to low setting
and i think your gonna experience some laggy or slow down but i think it will run :) but btw how many mb is your vid card?

Crysis 2. Homefront, Dragon Age II or Bulletstorm (Xbox 360)?
I'm rackin in some birthday money and I needs to spend it on a game, not two, ONE. So which one of these are the best to buy?Crysis 2. Homefront, Dragon Age II or Bulletstorm (Xbox 360)?
It all depends on what you want. If you're into a game with really good graphics then definitely get Crysis 2, but the campaign isn't that great and the multiplayer takes a while to get into. If you want a game with a longer campaign then get Dragon Age II. Bulletstorm is a good game if you like gore and playing with friends, assuming your friends have it. And if you're looking for a really good multiplayer game then I would get Homefront, I've found it to be really fun and the campaign is pretty good as well.
Bulletstorm is good but it won't last too long. Dragon Age II is really good too, long story line but once you beat it there's really nothing you can do. Crysis 2 is pretty good too but multiplayer is kind of trash, what i mean by that is that not too many guns, kind of unfair about the abilities (Stealth, Armor) Armor, HITDETECTION! Stealth , you know, campers with that on, so for me Homefront, really fair game.Crysis 2. Homefront, Dragon Age II or Bulletstorm (Xbox 360)?
i think you can go with Crysis 2 - Limited Edition i am sure you like it .

Dragon Age II (Xbox 360): Mage v. Templars Battle problem?
I sided with the mages and fought some templars and then the 1st enchanter becomes a big fat demon so I killed him too, then I check the journal and there's no updated info. No arrows appear on the screen and the exit isn't clear. Why isn't the game progressing? I'm just stuck in a room with my companions and the corpse of a big fat guy!
Is this a game flaw or should I approach this battle differently?Dragon Age II (Xbox 360): Mage v. Templars Battle problem?
I think I just left the building after looting his corpse. It should trigger a cut scene and start the final battle.

The map for DA2 is small. But, the game isn't an open world, it has a defined beginning and end. The map is only as big as it needs to be to tell the story. You can run around exploring if you really want to and occasionally run in to some side quests. But for the most part you will only travel as much as needed to complete a quest.burger shop kayaks

There is one city. You visit different sections of it, as well as predetermined areas outside the city. There isn't free roam. If you consider endless walking through reptitive fields sexy, you may also be interested to know your character can have sex in the game.Dragon Age II questions?
The map for DA2 is small. But, the game isn't an open world, it has a defined beginning and end. The map is only as big as it needs to be to tell the story. You can run around exploring if you really want to and occasionally run in to some side quests. But for the most part you will only travel as much as needed to complete a quest.
Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. Is there a good and evil system in the game like previous Bioware titles and Fable. Can your eyes glow red?
2. Are the PC achievements different from the Xbox and PS3 Trophies? I saw someone on the Bioware with the signature "Unstoppable'' Achievement Unlocked. I guess this is for clearing the game on Nightmare.Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. There is no good/evil system, just friendship and rivalry with your companions. Though sometimes, your responses to previous conversions can unlock special ones down the line. It could be if you acted sarcastic or aggressive, etc.
2. All of them have the same achievements/trophies, except for the platinum trophy for the PS3 version (gain all other trophies in the main game). And the other person is incorrect, it's not for making it to Kirkwall without anyone being knocked down, it's for not having anyone knocked down in a single Act (period of gameplay between two sets of long periods of time, these periods are just fast forwarded with Varric's storytelling).Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. no there is no good or evil system just friend and rivalry with followers
2. unstoppable is for getting to kurkwall with out anyone passing out

Is Dragon Age II worth it?
Just wondering because I was thinking about getting it :)Is Dragon Age II worth it?
I would say so. You will probably beat it quickly though. Great storyline, gameplay and charactersIs Dragon Age II worth it?
Now that it's dropping in price, that offsets any negatives the game has. Fallout New Vegas just dropped to 19.99 new if that helps, it's just FNV is a tad glitchy (gameplay wise) but way more expansive a world (exploration/quest wise). Is Dragon Age II worth it?
ita worth it
its more for consoles than pc
great game imo
hope i helped some :)

Dragon Age II wont start?
Everytime i try to, it pops up with a "Unable to locate component" error. It keeps saying "This application has failed to start because d2dx9_43.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." I did re-install the game about 3 times now, but it's not doing anything. What's wrong?Dragon Age II wont start?

I have aquired all of the Armor of Champions. I was wondering are the weapons that you use when you are in the armor in the beginning available in the real game? For mage, rogue, and warriorDragon Age II trailer weapons?

Dragon Age II, Romance Merrill and Isabella?
*ROMANCE SPOILERS ALERT!!!!!*
Here's the thing,
I play this game for the first time now and I wanted to romance Merrill. For fun I also flirted with Isabella. During act II Isabella knocks on my door at the estate and we make love, after that we talk about love and I do not break the relationship.
On the internet it says that Merrill will also come to the estate but she hasn't shown up yet.
The cut scene for Isabella to (according to the internet) move in to the estate with me hasn't shown up yet either.
So, is it still possible for me to romance Merrill? Just need to be more patient about her coming to the estate? Or did I fail and now I have to romance Isabella? (Which isn't a bad thing but, oh well, I had my aim on someone else so :P )Dragon Age II, Romance Merrill and Isabella?
Isabela trumps Merril. You have to break things off with her if you want to switch to someone else. If you are going to pursue Isabela make sure that before act 2 ends you have maxed out either her friendship or rivalry.nyc restaurant week bbq

In Dragon Age II, If I have not achieved a relationship with Fenris in Act II, will I be able to later?
I didn't flirt with Fenris during our first conversation in Act I. I'm assuming that's why it hasn't started yet.
I'm in a rival relationship, but rivalry isn't at the very bottom yet.
I'm asking if I can pursue a romantic relationship in Act III? Any useful information is very helpful to me.
Also, does anyone know if I get in a romantic relationship in Act II, will I permanently not be able to start one in Act III? You don't need to answer this question, but if you know, please tell me.In Dragon Age II, If I have not achieved a relationship with Fenris in Act II, will I be able to later?
yes u can not unfortunately unless you flirt with him in the very first mission you recruit him in

I intend to buy Dragon Age II, before that i want to whether it is a good game or not? ?
It's alright. Not horrible, but not great either.
Dragon Age: Origins is much better.
In response to Mayall:
True, sometimes change can be a good thing. I'm a person that isn't threatened by change in general, and sometimes some games change in a way that improves it overall. (Mass Effect 2, for example. I can begrudge the game all I want for removing everything that made it an RPG and introducing regenerating health. But it was an overall better designed and, a generally better game than ME1)
However, sometimes, the "change" is bad. Very, very bad. How bad?
DA:O had been in development for 5 YEARS before it came out. DA2 came out LESS THAN A YEAR LATER.
How can a sequel come out less than a year later, to a game which took 5 years to develop? And how could it possibly retain the same level of quality? It can't. And it doesn't.
In fact, Brent Knowles, the man responsible for leading the design of Dragon Age: Origins, actually refused to be a part of the DA2 team and quit Bioware completely because of how disappointed he was in the game. That alone should tell you the extremely questionable nature to the quality of the game, when the lead developer quits the company and refuses to develop it.
Like I said, it's not a horrible game. It's a fairly decent game with a lot of disappointing design shortcomings. If DA2 was made by a different company, and had nothing to do with the Dragon Age setting and lore, it would be a good game. The few "improvements" will quickly become hollow.
Combat flows faster, which is good. Combat animations are ridiculous. (They look faster, but you'll get sick and tired of everyone having the same 3 hit combo very fast.)
Class builds are extremely limited. (I can't dual wield weapons with my warrior? I can't use axes or maces on my rogue? Arcane warrior spec is GONE?)
"Streamlined" item system actually means having less access and freedom to use the gear you find. (I can't equip anything on my allies? Huh????)
But because it's a sequel, we must always compare it to the the previous game. And it does nothing to follow in the heels of Dragon Age: Origins, which is miles ahead in almost everything.I intend to buy Dragon Age II, before that i want to whether it is a good game or not? ?
If you played Origins and are expecting more of the same you may be disappointed. A lot of the criticism of DA2 comes from people who didn't want anything to change. But, if you accept the game for what it is I think you will like it. The combat is fast paced and fun, the dialogue and companion interactions are great, and the cinematics are much improved. They also streamlined the inventory and crafting so it is much easier to manage your stuff. The only big letdown for me was the ending. But the assumption is that it will be resolved in a future expansion.

I want to buy one of them but I want to know if you can dual-wield swords in them. I really like RPGs and I want to know if I can use 2 swords. Which one I buy will depend on the answer or if they both have dual-wielding then please tell me which one I should buy. Thanks. Is there dual-wielding in Dragon Age Origins and Fable II?

Dragon Age II, Ancient Rock Wraith Battle?
What is the secret to winning against him?! My party is Hawke (Rogue assassin) Varric (duh) Isabela and Fenris. It's not necessarily that it's hard, (or maybe it is) but everyone keeps losing health too fast, too quickly for the quick heal to regenerate or whatever. How can my companions last long enough to kill it?Dragon Age II, Ancient Rock Wraith Battle?
First of all, your party seems very unbalanced. I would definitely bring a mage (for ranged attacks and healing) and possibly two tanks. It's never a good idea to have more than two of a certain class in my party, because it leaves your party weak in one way or another.
If you have too many tanks (or even direct attackers, who use swords or daggers) are more vunerable to getting hurt because they are directly attacking the foe. This might be why your companions are dying so quickly, because they are taking the most damage.
If you have too many mages, you don't have enough strength. Mages die too easily, and need at least one warrior to protect them.
If you have too many rogues, your team won't be powerful enough to kill everything. Rogues are quick and may critical hit, but don't have enough strength. They need warriors to add power and mages to help them from afar.
When I was a rogue who used duel weapons, I made sure I had at least two ranged attackers. I used Varric (who uses arrows) and Anders (who heals and attacks from afar.) Then, I added a tank (Aveline or Fenris) to add the power.
Getting a strong, stable party is all about balance.
Hmm... also check the difficulty you're on. Lower it if you can. Lastly, the Wraith will let out a jet of red light that stuns and hurts your party members. When you see the Wraith preparing that attack, get all you're party members behind the pillars around you. This will save you a lot of damage.
Just remember, dragon age is all about strategy, strategy, strategy. Keep this in mind when you're making decisions.Dragon Age II, Ancient Rock Wraith Battle?
Make sure when hes about to unleash that charged beam attack you and your party go behind a pillar to avoid it. If your doing that but still struggling, have one party member such as varric take out the small wraiths that spawn while the rest attack the big guy. Your probably stuggling because of your lack of mage.Dragon Age II, Ancient Rock Wraith Battle?
Doesn't seem like you brought a balanced party....
For me, the party I used was:
Aveline (Tank)
Anders (Healer)
Varric
Hawke - 2h warrior
Depending on the difficulty level, the fight can take a very long time, but the rock wraith has pretty transparent attack patterns. Even on high difficulty, the battle was mostly based entirely on attrition and endurance. The trickiest part was knowing when to order Aveline to use Stonewall, and managing Anders' group heal.
You're really late along the quest, so I don't really know what you can do with the party you got. You don't have anyone that can heal, and probably don't have a tank unless you spec'd Fenris to be one. It seems like you might've dug a hole for yourself in this one, so unless you want to keep trying with the party you got, I'd drop the difficulty all the way down and get the fight over with.
You should always bring a healer. Anders is the obvious choice because of his exclusive healing abilities, but even any other mage with the simple Heal spell would be a huge help (Anders is definitely recommended though)

The armor is called Armor of the Champion / Champion Armor.
You get each piece by the method below.
* Gauntlets are automatically acquired as soon as you begin Act III.
* Warplate is acquired after killing the High Dragon in The Bone Pit.
* Boots are acquired from the corpse of Huon during the quest "On The Loose".
* Helm is acquired from Grace during the quest "Best Served Cold".

What PS3 game should i get?[Between Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and Dragon Age II]?
Haha at a crisis again. so i just downloaded the demo of 'Storm 2 and Dragon Age 2 and i definately want one of them but thing is, im not so sure which one to get cuz there both look like great games and ive been having fun with both of the demos. Unfortunately though getting them both is out of the question for now and so based on your experiences with the games which is more fun? which should i get? What PS3 game should i get?[Between Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and Dragon Age II]?
Dragon Age II is a rich, rich game, with characters that grow on you and an engrossing storyline... with moral dilemmas that make it seem very real at times, to boot.
I played DA2 through once as rogue, and now I'm re-playing it as a mage -- already, after only a couple of hours it feels very different.
@@@
I've only played dragon age and can safely say its a decent enough game and in my opinion better than naruto, but it depends on what you're looking for. I'd say dragon is more mature than the other, and possibly offers a longer play time. But in the end its up to you. My vote goes to Dragon Age.What PS3 game should i get?[Between Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and Dragon Age II]?
Dragon age II. By far it is one of the best games I have ever played. Amazing story, in-depth characters and plotlines, and pretty good humour. Definitely go for DAII

What's your opinion on Dragon Age II?
From what I can tell, it seems like it shouldn't even be under the Dragon Age title since it seems like a stand-alone game that doesn't really pertain much to DAO except for the world and lore. I mean I know Bioware is going to deliver, but I'm a bit skeptical at this point seeing as it is going the route of Mass Effect. Don't get me wrong, ME is an exceptional series, but it seems like they shouldn't really mix the two together...
Any thoughts? What's your opinion on Dragon Age II?
At least Dragon Age 2 is remaining in the same world as DAO so you can hear and see what happens between the two games, think about the Final Fantasy games, most of them take have nothing in common at all except for the name. I get your skepticism over the use of some Mass Effect elements in Dragon Age 2, but let's not forget that DAO was around five years old at the time of release, and it showed it's age. Don't get me wrong, it was a great game, but it had some rough patches. Besides, the only ME functions I can really see include minor stuff like the conversation wheel, which will make for a bit of a smoother flow to conversations I believe.
Edit: As far as I know, the PC version of the game will still have the more tactical feel to it. It's the console versions which are going for a more faster action style. What's your opinion on Dragon Age II?
The devs have confirmed there will be a strategic view, it's just different than in Origins. Early previews said it doesn't exist because BioWare was still working on it and did not implement an early version.
Combat will be mainly the same except that you can also choose to play it more like a hack %26amp; slash game. This is optional, though. The dialogue wheel is a good system and I'm glad the character gets a voice. I always thought my Warden lacked personality. The wheel is not exactly the same as in Mass Effect. There will be icons in the middle of the wheel that tell you how the character will say these lines (sarcastic, worried, etc.).
Something I think is fantastic is that even though you always have a kind and rude dialogue option, if you've been a dick throughout the game the kind dialogue options change. It's impossible to be the worst person in the world and suddenly act like a nice guy. You'll be more sarcastic. What's your opinion on Dragon Age II?
Not sure what you meant by going the route of Mass Effect since Mass Effect is the same story from 1 to 3 and involves the same characters, but Dragon Age is unique in the sense that they actually stated before DAO came out that they want to develop a world and not just a game. Meaning that Dragon Age 2 will be totally different story (but set in the same world/lore) as 1, and 3 will be the same. The only time it will continue is with DLC/expansion packs. They have two novels out that are completely different, too. It is not traditional and I'm not sure if it's ever been done before, but they want to make a world where the player can look at it in a whole, not just a single character/group. I think it's an awesome idea and the fact that the events of DA2 will intertwine with DAO, but not overlap, makes me excited.

Questions about Dragon Age II & Dragon Age: Origins?
Is DAO fun? I've heard some of the gameplay was glitchy, but it also had very high reviews. I sort of ruined it by reading the storyline on wikipedia, but I've never played the game. Does it take too long?
As for DA II, should I buy DAO before playing this one? I heard it's coming out in Mar, and since the last game got such good reviews, I'm having thoughts about buying it. Is DAO needed, or suggested to play before DA II?Questions about Dragon Age II %26amp; Dragon Age: Origins?
Depends on what Platform you are playing on. If possible, i HIGHLY recommend you go with the PC version. This is coming from someone who owns both console and PC versions (Videocard was dead when DAO came out and I couldn't wait to try it.) A look at any reviews will tell you that the console versions just do not match up against the PC version. This is because the game had to be restructured and refitted to the extremely limited function of a console controller. As a PC player, you'll enjoy such functions such as more complex camera controls. Definite and quick controls of every party member. A quick ability bar. As well as a much more unforgiving difficulty level.
I loved the game when I played it first on console, but I could not imagine how much more difficult the game becomes on PC, where intelligent tactical decisions make or break virtually every encounter you run across. On console, I barely had to pause combat to think about any actions at all. The difficulty was much more lenient, and the focus of combat was more based around speed and blatant killing instead of tactics. Not hating on consoles. It's just the truth. Coming from someone who has both versions. Although the console versions received very high scores as well, get the PC version if you can.
That being said, the game is pretty long (length is compounded by how much difficulty you have playing through it.) You'll probably play the game for around 50 hours depending on how much things you do and how much you struggle. My first playthrough landed me at around 80 hours (although I'm sure I spent plenty of time afk.) If you plan on getting into DA2, I highly recommend you play through the first. This is because (if you are familiar with ME2) Bioware has said that many choices and decisions you make through DAO will come back in the second game. Meaning that your actions will have impacts on how the world in DA2 will be. This is only possible if you have a completed save from DAO to import this data from, and I think I remember hearing that you will also be given bonus levels and abilities at the start if you bring in an imported save from DAO. A pretty neat bonus.
I absolutely loved DAO. It was a big throwback to older Bioware RPG's (Such as Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights.) Back when success meant balancing tactical decisions and party abilities instead of spamming attack until you win. (A la Fallout 3.)
EDIT: It's best not to risk it then. The game is built on a pretty unstable engine that causes a myriad of glitches if played on a system that can't handle it. PC version is out of the question then.Questions about Dragon Age II %26amp; Dragon Age: Origins?
It is said that you can transfer your data from DAO to DA II so it affects some of the story. DAO is kind of glitchy and the gameplay is a bit repetative but the storyline and character plots are amazing. DA II is a must get but you have to get DAO so you know what it is about. But you can just get DA II if you want.

Sooo if dao2 will work im gonna start saving money for it :PCan I run Dragon age II on my computer? :o?
It looks like you don't know much about PCs. Press windows logo + R on your keyboard. Then type dxdiag and press enter. You'll see everything you need to know. Go to the display tab to see what graphics card you have.
Amount of Ghz is not enough. You need to have a supported processor. This excludes single core processors, Celerons and Turions.
Dragon Age Origins runs on the same engine as Dragon Age II so if that works fine, DA2 should work fine as well. You can always download the demo to check it out.Can I run Dragon age II on my computer? :o?

Dragon Age i suggest you buy instead of waiting, but i personally don't really like the game.
Dead Space 2 i like and play the original first.
WWE i heard good things but i never actually played it.
Fight Night im not familiar withHomefront, Dead Space, Fight Night, Dragon Age II or WWE All-Stars?

Can I play Dragon Age II even though I've never played the first one?
I mean, will it make sense? xbox 360 versionCan I play Dragon Age II even though I've never played the first one?
The story in DA2 barely has anything to do with the first game.
The most the game has to do with the first are cameos by other characters. You'll see people presented in a "LOOK WHO IT IS!!!" kind of fashion, but since you didn't play the first game you'll undoubtedly not have a clue who they are.
Lorewise, there's all sorts of things you may not know much about without playing the first game, but don't matter as much from a story perspective but more about understanding the fictional world in DA2 (For example, you won't know what the Deep Roads are, or the Chantry, or the Templars, or Eluvian. But don't worry, you'll learn about these in DA2 as you progress)
DA2 is spread across 3 chapters, each with it's own self contained story that doesn't really reference the first game at all, especially after the first chapter. You should have no problem understanding the story throughout the game.
In many ways, DA2 is a huge disappointment compared to DA:O. But considering you're new to the series, there's nothing stopping you from enjoying it as a new game.
well that kinda depends on who you are. if your like me than you will play all of the games in a row if there is a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th one b/c it really really bothers me if i don't go in order on things. Can I play Dragon Age II even though I've never played the first one?
Well , this won't be a huge problem , the history is not the same , so I don't see why you should play the first game , just go for the 2 , which is even better then the one.
You play as a different character and have different party members, so you shouldn't be too confused, although Dragon Age: Origins is more of a traditional RPG, whereas Dragon Age II has more action elements. Can I play Dragon Age II even though I've never played the first one?
Well the first one you should play first cause well in the fisr its were the story starts you kill the dragon then you play the second one were the story continues! Hope my answer Helped
Yes it will work. I actually have a save from DAO but it also gave option to start a whole new champion campaign. No worries. It works :)

Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II?
Which one should I get? Origins got a lot of praise when it was released, and I hear DA II didn't improve a whole lot over the original.
But in the end, for someone who hasn't played either one, which one is overall better?Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II?
As with any sequel of this particular sort (not all), I recommend the second as it is an improvement off the first. If you want a retrospective think about oblivion vs. skyrim. You'd miss out on the story of the first game, but you'd have a much better gaming experience with the second.Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II?

Dragon Age II romance with Fenris?
Is it better to have a friendship or a rivalry romance with Fenris?
Because I hear things like Fenris isn't gonna move in with you if you choose a friendship romance, etc.Dragon Age II romance with Fenris?
I've done both friendship and rivalry romances with Fenris. The big difference seems to be his reaction to the gifts, particularly the Sword of Mercy. In a rivalry situation, he turns it down flat, and gets upset at you.
The dialog points and his reaction to them is the only other difference. Otherwise, the cutscenes are almost identical once you initiate the romance itself. The rest of the time, he's going to treat the relationship with respect, even when he has a minor wiggins after the romance starts in Act 2. Just be patient with him until the start of Act 3.
A 100% friend OR rival Fenris in a romance with Hawke will stay with the party automatically even after the events that take place towards the end of Act 3.
EDIT: Fenris will NEVER move in with Hawke, under any circumstances. He's got his own mansion. Of course there are dead bodies in the hallway, but hey.... free mansion.Dragon Age II romance with Fenris?

I think the friendship romance is better. He seems happier and there are some sweet moments. Rivalry is more for people who like a romance full of conflict. Either path gets the same results though.
Fenris never moves in with you no matter what you do. Only Merril and Anders will ever live in the mansion.

In Dragon Age II, when playing a rogue, has anyone else seen this?
I was playing Act 1 of Dragon Age 2 with a new rogue (have already completed it with mage) and I noticed a very strange, impressive move that I didn't think possible.
In short, there were three simple enemies standing side by side - I used backstab on the middle one, and when I pressed X to do a basic attack on another enemy, Hawke stood on one hand and kicked out both legs (not a cross-class combo as far as I could see) instantly killing the two other enemies.
Anyone else seen this/explanation?In Dragon Age II, when playing a rogue, has anyone else seen this?
Yeah it was incredible! I think it happens when you have high enough agility or dexterity.

Dragon Age II Questions?
I'm going to buy Dragon Age 2 when its out but I've got two major questions that I'm hoping someone will be able to answer.
1) I plan on playing as a mage like the one in the cut scenes and cover art and I wanna know about that epic looking armor, and that mage stave. I wanna know if those three darkspawn inspired, class specific armors and weapons for mages, warriors, and rangers, will actually be available in the game because I HATE IT when games have cut scenes and cover arts of thing you'll never actually acquire in the game. its F*CKING IRRITATING!
2) Since playing the demo as a mage, I noted that basic attacks at close range become melee attacks with your staff or stave. Does the damage of those melee attacks hinge on your character's strength stats, or on your magic stats?
Ty, I hope we all enjoy this game :)Dragon Age II Questions?
I think a similar look will be available. It won't be exactly the same though since the people who made the cinematic trailer always take some license.
Your second question isn't something I had thought of. I would assume that it is still a magical attack. They just used melee animations because shooting at something over and over that is right in front of you like in Origins looked awkward.Dragon Age II Questions?
the first Dragon Age was a poor copy of past rpg games. Go play a real rpg, not this dumbed down one made for console retards.chinese delivery mike geary

Dragon Age II (Whos else is excited about this game)?
is anybody looking forward to dragon age 2 in a week?
i played the demo and i fell in love with the game from the characters and the covno wheel and even the opitions of weapons for different characters that of which i think is awesome. then you have different races and different classes and even if your one type of class you still have other party members that are of different classes that you can personally control and not to mention you can customize your character from the way you look to the clothes you have on as well as having the opition of being in a relationship or just having sometype of romance with other characters in the story i think this game s gonna be epic.
the only thing i dont like about this game based off the demo is the graphics..........Opinions gaming brothers?Dragon Age II (Whos else is excited about this game)?

Dragon Age II: The Last Straw (Decision making)?
I don't know what to do! Throughout the whole game, I've sided with the mages because my sister Bethany was a mage. She died in the Deep Roads. She mentioned running from the templars all the time. Truth be told, I think I hate mages. In Dragon Age Origins, I f*cking hated demons, and I hated blood magic. The quest in the Fade was so frustrating, and annoying. But demons are the only ones I hate. But..They ARE related to mages.
I'm in a romantic relationship with Merril too, and shes my favorite character in the game. Mages are terrible. The whole game, I've done quests for mages that ended up in innocent people being killed by blood magic. And my ingame mother was even killed by magic.
I have a lot of reasons to destroy the mages..But none to destroy the templars. I made Alistair king in Dragon Age Origins.
I don't know what to do. And then Anders pulled a f*cking fast one, and blew up the chantry. More reason to side with the templars after what I just saw there.
This is the same dilemma I had in Mass Effect, when I had to choose to save the council, or let them die. I ended up saving the council.
I'm a goody two shoes, but so far, from what I've seen in this whole game, blood magic is evil.
Please help me :\
And don't you dare spoil anything for me. The people who answered my Mass Effect question helped me out a lot, without any spoilers whatsoever.Dragon Age II: The Last Straw (Decision making)?
There is no morally right or wrong decision. The game gives you plenty of justification to pick either side. Do what you as a player feel is best. As long as you have Merril at either 100% rivalry or friendship she will stand by whatever decision you make. It does not effect the romance in any way.
You can always do a second play through as a mage and see how that alters your feelings about the final choice.Dragon Age II: The Last Straw (Decision making)?
You have to realize not all mages are Blood Mages they usually only turn to it out of Desperation.
Not only that but not all Blood Mages are evil/Abominations. Merill has control over her powers so did Jowan from DAO though it got both of them into plenty of trouble neither of them ever became Abominations like Uldred did.
Anyways either one you choose the outcome is practically the same.
Also try out a mage in DA, they're actually a lot of fun.Dragon Age II: The Last Straw (Decision making)?
play 1 side
reload the save and play the other choice problem solved

Dragon age II wtf was the point of loading a saved game!?
Dude i'm so pissed i finished dragon age 2, I'm playing solely to find some closure to the previous story when Morrigan is your romantic interest. Finished the game, witch hunt downloadable and there is no conclusion what so ever.. 160 hours dragon age 1 + 60 more dragon age 2 for no conclusion WTF bioware!?
Did i miss something? Do i need to load more saved games and insert 20 dollar bills into my computer case? I'm sick of buying shitty disappointing DLC
Is there any conclusion to the Morrigan storyline? Help!Dragon age II wtf was the point of loading a saved game!?
BioWare revealed a month before release that Morrigan would not be in the game.Dragon age II wtf was the point of loading a saved game!?
Morrigan has no role in the second game. there is that DLC that has somewhat of a conclusion, i bet there will be more of that in the 3rd. i bet the hero will be the child she had with your character in Origins.Dragon age II wtf was the point of loading a saved game!?
Not yet.
There are too many storylines created to follow them all up in one game. Go to the forums. Maybe you can find some closure there, or input your thoughts...english to arabic translation caterers

[SPOILER] Dragon Age II ending?
I was so dissapointed, only 20 hours (Dragon age origins took me 60) the ending doesn't make sense (unless it was made to leave space for dragon age III) I mean is my main objective in the game is to solve this mage/templar issue? it doesn't even end with a solution you just kill both of their leaders and the game ends, Liliana's appearance at the end also makes no sense, Alistar's meeting was uncalled for, few words nothing serious... what were they thinking?[SPOILER] Dragon Age II ending?
a third dragon age 3 is probaly why they made a confusing ending they are trying make space for it probaly[SPOILER] Dragon Age II ending?
Another likely possibility is having downloads after the end of the game.

Dragon Age II Signature Edition?
Does it come with Dog? If not I think I'll just buy the regular one to get the canine companion.Dragon Age II Signature Edition?
the signature ediditon comes with free dlc which comes with the dog the dog is more like a summon creature this time around but it alwayz appears in your house.. you can purchase the dlc on the psn but thats for..what 5$-10$ i think..so in away the signature edition is better becuase if you had preordered it, it was the same cost as the regular edtion when it first came out. if you have to pay extra now like on ebay or amazon..check the cost of the psn dlc and add it up to the regular verison to make sure your not getting ripped off.Dragon Age II Signature Edition?
Should come with everything plus more the regular one does

Dragon Age II question?
OK, so I was going through Dragon Age 2, and I still hadn't met the girl that was in the demo named Isabella, so I thought she might show up later on. Well I just finished the game and I still didn't ever meet her. I am going to go back and play through with the other 2 classes and I was just wondering what I did wrong the first time around to skip ever meeting her. Is there some mission I missed? Why did I never encounter her or get to recruit her?Dragon Age II question?
In the first act after you recruit Anders you will meet Isabela the next time you walk in to the Hanged Man. You will get a cut scene of her fighting with some men and then be able to talk with her to trigger her recruitment quest. Don't put off doing it, go right away to help her. After that she will be available to use in your party.
