I'm thinking of getting some musics/sound effects out of games like Dragon Age II, Warhammer II, etc
but never figured out how to do it, anyone can help me?How do you extract the musics or sound effects from nowadays PC games?
It's a lot harder than it used to be.
Normally now they're archived in their folders with different file extensions (.bin, .cue, etc), and a lot of them won't allow you to do it.
If by Warhammer II, you mean Dawn of War II, go to the place it's installed, then GameAssets, then Archives. There are files in there ending with the .sga file extension.
What you'd want to do now is find an extractor for that particular file extension.
Like I said, it's not as easy as it used to be, but good luck in rooting round and finding the files that you want. How do you extract the musics or sound effects from nowadays PC games?
you have to go in the program files open c drive then open program files folder then open the folder of the game and browse the music in that
