What would you suggest as a gaming computer?

i want a computer that can run games like crysis, Oblivion , fallout 3 , Fallout newvegas ,dragon age ii

what would be a good computer to get that's like around $500What would you suggest as a gaming computer?
HP Pavilion p6710f ($500)

Specs:
-AMD Athlon II Quad-Core 3.0ghz
-4GB Ram
-1TB Hard Drive
-ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics

or

Acer AM3400-U2502 ($450)

Specs:
-AMD Athlon II dual-core 2.7ghz
-4GB ddr3 ram
-640GB hard drive
-ATI Radeon HD 4250 Graphics

for $500 you won't find a great gaming pc, but you can find one that at least handles games. I tried to find ones that had dedicated graphics, either AMD or NVIDIA, as integrated Intel grahpics are terrible at playing games.
I wouldnt suggest buying a single make of computer, building your own computer is ALOT cheaper than buying one off the shelves and will be better performance. to play all those games at a good frame rate you would want to give most of your budget to the graphics card, processor and ram. but with $500 dont expect extreme performance. personally id look at a high end intel i5 processor and a 1gb nvidia 4 or 5 series (so like this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NVIDIA+-+GeForce+GTX+550+Ti+1GB+GDDR5+PCI+Express+2.0+Graphics+Card/2375089.p?id=1218323853938%26amp;skuId=2375089%26amp;st=nvidia%26amp;cp=1%26amp;lp=1) seems alot but if its for gaming this one of the most important parts of the computer.

as for ram look at mid to high speed card... around 4gb should do. you can pick them up for around $50

research about building your own gaming computer for $500 there is alot of info out there

hope this helpsWhat would you suggest as a gaming computer?
The best option for you would be to buy a PC off ebay.

There will be some gaming enthusiast who has recently upgraded his system to something quite amazing... and will be selling his old (yet still effective) PC on the cheap.

Building your own PC is not always the cheapest way to purchase - especially if you don't know what you are doing.

So yes, go to ebay.

Look for at least 2GB RAM +

Nvdia 9000 series/ ATI Radeon 5000 series GPU +

quad core 2.6GHz processor or above

500GB storage space
Don't listen to the guy saying Alienware is good. It's not. Over priced and over rated.

Building your own will save you TONS of money and you'll get better performance. I built mine for 650 USD and the specs Alienware wanted was over 1800 USD.

If you don't know how to built try www.ibuypower.com it's a great site. What would you suggest as a gaming computer?
Buy this one, then save up to buy a 6770 (or better) video card:

You'll never get an Alienware PC that cheap, they don't suck but they are expensive and overpriced.
Check iBuyPower.com if you don't like the example I gave and don't want to build it yourself.
For only $500 you won't get much of a gaming PC nowadays. $500 will maybe get you an average PC for day by day use.

To custom build a good gaming PC it' gonna take well over $1,000.
Custom build it, they're cheaper and better than all of the prebuilt ones except for tge custom prebuilt ones lol. http://centauruscomputers.com/
Anything from Alienware.
This isn't really an answer, but it depends if you need a monitor, mouse, keyboard or not.
